The Sycamore Creek Park Arboretum is accessible by the Zeller-Smith Covered Bridge. It is a nice addition to the park.

The Zeller-Smith covered bridge was built in 1906, by J.W. Buchanan. It was originally located on Busey Road in Pickerington.

Clearport Road was once a busy road. There was a post office, festivals, a sawmill, a smith’s shop and 5 mills.

Preservation of Covered Bridges Thanks to conservation efforts some of these bridges still survive.
