The Zeller-Smith covered bridge was built in 1906, by J.W. Buchanan. It was originally located on Busey Road in Pickerington.

Clearport Road was once a busy road. There was a post office, festivals, a sawmill, a smith’s shop and 5 mills.

The nature preserve is maintained by the Ross County Park District. It consists of 154 acres and sits along Kinnikinnick Creek.

Tarlton Cross Mound Park is a 28-acre park. It has one short trail that measures approximately 1 mile in length.
